Financial Aid

Simplifying Assistance for Westbridge Families

Westbridge partners with Clarity, a financial aid third-party processor, to determine eligibility for assistance for both current and prospective families.

Clarity offers a streamlined and user-friendly financial aid application process that can take as little as thirty minutes to complete.

You will need to submit a Clarity application each year in order to qualify for financial aid. The Clarity application fee is $60 and covers all children in your household.

All financial assistance awards must be applied for annually. Financial assistance is not available for extended day services, technology fees, or any other special programs. Financial Aid is not awarded to foreign citizens who do not file U.S. taxes or to families who are applying under the Early Notification program.

Frequently Asked Questions About Financial Aid?

Will I qualify to receive financial aid?

Financial aid at Westbridge is need-based. Clarity will conduct an analysis of income versus expenses for each family that applies. Clarity will provide Westbridge with an estimate of how much the family can afford to spend toward their child’s education. Financial aid awards at Westbridge Academy will never cover 100% of tuition.

What if the parents are divorced or separated?

Financial information is required for both biological parents. The existence of a legal determination excusing one parent from financial contributions towards a child’s education will not be considered. We believe that it is the obligation of both parents to contribute to a child’s educational expenses. If either parent is remarried, we will consider the income/assets of the stepparent.

Must both parents work to receive financial aid?

Unless there are legitimate reasons why a spouse is not employed, such a decision is considered a lifestyle choice and will be a factor in determining financial need.

Do I have to apply for financial aid every year?

Yes. Financial aid awards are evaluated every year. Families must re-apply each year. By submitting a Form 4506c to give Clarity permission to pull your prior year tax returns, you won’t need to upload any of them yourself.

Can my child lose the financial aid award?

Parents sign an award agreement where they accept the award and understand that financial aid awards may be jeopardized in the event of poor scholastic performance, disciplinary problems, breach of confidentiality or failure to meet financial obligations.

My child was accepted into Westbridge. Can I expect to receive financial aid?

The admission and financial aid processes are independent from each other. Acceptance into the school does not guarantee financial aid.
