It has been a joy to teach at Westbridge, where I am blessed to work with creative and wonderfully unique children. My journey in education began as a young adult, preparing Bible lessons for Children’s Ministry. Those early moments—watching little hearts fall in love with Jesus—sparked a passion that led me to pursue a career working with children. After earning an M.S. in Special Education, I taught students with a wide range of exceptionalities in the public-school system, where I learned that success looks different for every child. I later returned to school to earn an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology, focusing on bridging the gap between students’ needs and the resources available to support them.

After the birth of our third son, our family chose to homeschool, and teaching my own children during their formative years became one of the most rewarding seasons of my life. Both my personal and professional paths were deeply shaped when one of my sons was diagnosed with learning disabilities. This humbling and inspiring experience allows me to serve families with the hope of a parent who is just a few steps ahead on the journey. As the mother of a dyslexic son, I hold tightly to 1 Corinthians 1:3–4, trusting that the God of all comfort equips us to comfort others. Each day, I am reminded that with patience, encouragement, and the right support, children can grow into their God-given potential. I am truly grateful to partner with dedicated parents in guiding their children along their educational path.
