Lilia Perez

I am blessed to be part of the team at Westbridge and to support families as a reading specialist. I bring over 20 years of teaching experience, a master’s degree in Reading from St. Thomas University, and Orton–Gillingham certification. I enjoy working with students who learn in different ways and need extra support in reading and math. Children learn best when they can see, hear, say, and move as they learn, and using a multisensory, individualized approach helps concepts become clearer, strengthens understanding, and builds confidence. I also love helping children grow in their knowledge of God while learning to believe in themselves and know they can do it. I strive to create a warm, encouraging learning environment where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn.
